Comic Relief

In short, this is a psychological/horror 2.5D beat'em'up that's about a comedian who figured out that he's lost his ability to make people laugh, and there are some supernatural forces at play. He goes on a journey to regain his ability.

I wasn't able to make a lot of interesting gameplay made during this jam, as I worked alone making the art and programming. The player can basically roam around the level. However this was some nice progress into making the first scene where he tries to go on stage and he first realizes that he lost his talent.

I tried to mashup 2D pixel art sprites with a 2.5D space and it took some trickery to get the collision with the props to look more realistic. Also that mirror is neat (needed even more "smoke and mirrors" to get right :D)
